MANIFEST is the newest project from pop singer-songwriter, Christian Burghardt. The project is a huge step forward for Burghardt. MANIFEST shows Christian shedding his acoustic, singer-songwriter-oriented sound, in favor of a more lush, pop electronic style, all the while continuing to dish out his signature pop hooks, catchy lyrics and undeniably smooth and soulful vocals.
Writing has always come naturally to Christian. During his college years, hetaught himself Pro Tools and eventually recorded somewhere between 60 and 70 songs within that brief timespan. The strength of this material turned enough heads to eventually land him a record deal with RCA Records’ imprint, Kemosabe Records, affording him the opportunity to work with acclaimed writers and producers such as Gregg Wattenberg (Train, Daughtry, Goo Goo Dolls, Chantal Kreviazuk), Derek Fuhrmann (Phillip Phillips, OAR, Kygo) and Jonas Jeberg (Jason Derulo, Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande), among others. Burghardt released his EP, “Safe Place To Land,” on Kemosabe in 2014.
MANIFEST’s songs display new sonic territory for Christian. The tracks feature hints of modern Trap, Dubstep, R&B and even EDM, easily launching Burghardt into the company of today’s pop superstars.
